Chris Legg

Senior Managing Director

“In a society of constant change and instantaneity, the term ‘Digital Future’ could be seen as something distant; the winners will be those businesses that understand this; who are able to integrate it into their business proposition; and create the future.”

With more than 30 years of experience in finance and investment banking traced in entities such as Lehman Brothers, Credit Suisse, and Argo Global Capital, Chris brings a distinguished level of expertise to the table in raising capital, M&A strategies, and investments. In addition to his role with Progress Partners, Chris also manages active investments as a general partner at Progress Ventures and is interested in high-growth, fast-changing industries.

Altogether, Chris has raised over $500M in private equity and has served as an advisor or investor in 50 liquidity events, including several IPOs. Today, he leverages this deep experience to serve as a close confidant to his clients, helping them grow operationally and attract human and dollar capital.

He founded the nonprofit Canadian Executives in New England to support Canadian technology and life science entrepreneurship. Additionally, he earned a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) at Harvard Business School.
