
AJ Storinge
A.J. is a collaborative modern marketer with ~10 years in C-level agency roles. A.J. has a proven track record of driving business results with high EQ and business acumen. His global/hyper local brand experience is to interrogate barriers, build solutions, deliver outcomes all supported by learnings.
He is on a mission to find innovative ways for consumers to fall in love with brands. His approach to story telling is not about “what we do” but “why it matters.” It’s not just about flowcharts and reports; it’s how we interrogate business challenges with the right questions to build creative (and measurable) solutions in today’s ever changing marketplace.
Prior to his recent GroupM role, he served as the COO at Hearts & Science after a rapid promotion from leading AT&T. Before Hearts, his roles included being CEO of OpenMind at GroupM (formerly MetaVision Media) for 4 ½ years. His journey of learning also included being the PepsiCo/US lead at OMD as well as their Chief Strategy Officer/US.
In his “down time”, A.J. is intrigued by behavioral economics, but that’s just the beginning. Take a cab ride with him through NYC and you’ll find he’s a fun fact dispenser for every part of this city too. Finally, when not working, A.J. enjoys time with his family and (balanced with) playing ice hockey and golf.
A.J.’s roots are in the finger lakes region of Central NY in Skaneateles (pronounced ‘skinny-at-las’). He attended Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse and then graduated from Ithaca College. He lives in Glen Rock, NJ with his wife and two children.
