“Be due diligence ready every day. When unexpected acquisition offers arrive—and they will—your preparation determines your outcome. Have you organized your contracts, employment agreements, and financial records in an accessible system? While establishing this foundation requires investment, maintaining it becomes routine. I’ve seen too many promising deals collapse under time pressure when companies scramble to produce basic documentation. Don’t let that be your story.”

Rick brings 30 years of senior management experience working with various stages of companies. He is also an investor and advisor to early-stage technology companies as a Partner at Progress Ventures, an early-stage venture fund that invests in media and marketing technology companies.

Throughout his career, Rick has provided strategic, business, financial and operating leadership to Start-up Enterprises, Fortune 1000, Publicly Traded, Private, and High Growth Venture Capital Backed entities with an industry emphasis on Media and Marketing.

Rick has completed over a billion dollars worth of acquisitions, from sourcing to integration. He has co-founded 3 start-ups; raised over $35 million for them; and taken them all to liquidity events, including one IPO.

Rick has a BBA in accounting fom the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts – Amherst. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
