With 15 years of experience in tech investment banking, Rory Berger excels in strategic advisory, relationship management, deal sourcing, financial analysis, and negotiation. At Progress Partners, Rory leads coverage of technology services including digital transformation, managed IT services, cloud development, software and cloud consulting, data and analytics, AI implementation, and cybersecurity services.
In 2023, he founded Mogul Field Advisory, providing independent M&A advisory services for tech services companies and sponsors. He brings deep relationships in the sector from his previous role as Director and Head of Tech Services at KeyBanc Capital Markets, where he led significant deals in digital engineering, cloud transformation, and employment services. Prior to that, he managed IPOs, leveraged finance, and M&A transactions in the Technology Group at UBS Investment Bank across tech services, software, and digital infrastructure. Earlier in his career at Wells Fargo Securities, Rory led M&A execution teams on over $25 billion of public and private buy-side, sell-side, and advisory transactions.
Rory earned an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in English from Bucknell University.
