“I am a product and go-to-market leader with nearly 25 years of experience building high performing cross-functional teams, driving business results at scale, and launching, operating and growing zero to one products used by hundreds of millions of customers worldwide. Currently I am Director & General Manager at Wayfair where I lead the Merchandising-as-a-Service team building an industry-leading B2B service for Wayfair’s suppliers and driving go-to-market adoption. Prior to Wayfair, I spent 6 years at Amazon leading search advertising supply and then the platform and services powering Alexa’s voice and multimodal customer feedback experiences. My team of engineers, data scientists and product managers built several patented customer experiences, algorithms and ML models used by hundreds of millions of customers in 17 countries. The highlight was talking to inanimate objects every day (that talked back) and developing Alexa’s infrastructure from the ground up so that every time a customer cursed at Alexa, my team got a little smarter!

I have developed a broad and deep set of expertise operating in dynamic, fast-paced ambiguous environments in both large and small companies. I have been an entrepreneur and startup CEO (raising venture capital through to successful acquisition), a GM running a $250+MM P&L, and a cross-functional leader of engineering, data science and product teams. My experience spans a number of industries in both B2B and consumer: ecommerce and shopping, SaaS platforms, search & recommender systems, AI and ML systems, online search and advertising, and location-based services. I also advise tech investors, founders and startups and sit on the Board of CommonHealth ACTION, a DC-based nonprofit that develops people and organizations to produce health through equitable policies, programs and practices.”
