Steve Huey

Featured in Forbes’ Built to Sell and a member of the high-impact global Endeavor Entrepreneur network, Steve Huey has been building, scaling, selling and investing in start-ups for two decades. With the foundational experience as a member of the four-person CMGI M&A team instigating $4B worth of transactions during the Dot.com boom, Steve’s passion for fast-paced, high-growth start-ups led him to build his own companies. His specialty has been integrating cutting-edge technologies into existing markets, helping firms better serve its customers and accelerate its growth. Beyond technology, Steve’s belief is that human capital is quickly becoming the only differentiator between good companies and great ones. His leadership style embraces the entrepreneurial spirit by aligning both personal and professional goals.

Awarded 2018 Kentucky Mentor of the Year and noted as one of Louisville’s most admired CEO’s, Steve serves as a board chair or board member for several technology start-ups, including publicly traded marketing automation firm, Sharpspring. Most recently, Steve was co-founder and CEO of Capture Higher Ed, a predictive modeling and marketing automation software firm serving higher education. Before co-founding Capture, Steve helped lead the acquisition of both The Learning House, Inc. and RentalHouses.com, and prior to that Steve held senior positions at software firms Earthlink and Alluria.

In the few hours when he’s not mentoring dozens of CEO’s across the country, speaking or reading, you can probably find Steve doing CrossFit or manning his PS4. Steve attended Miami University in Oxford, OH and received his MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
